I hope you all had a very merry Christmas! We had a great one. Time with family, a great Christmas Eve service at church, and lots go great food!
At the early Christmas Eve services, the children get to participate in the reading of the birth of Jesus. Twinkle Toes was an angel (or a frangel which is half fairy and half angel). We didn’t have any white wings so we used our Sparkle Athletic running wings.
After the service, we went to my parents for dinner and gifts. Twinkle Toes got a guitar!
Then it was home to prepare for Santa and his reindeer. Twinkle Toes wrote Santa a letter, sprinkled reindeer food on the lawn, and left treats for Santa. Finally it was bedtime and the reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. Twinkle Toes made me promise to read it every year even when she goes to college. I love this kid! 🙂
Christmas morning was not too early, thankfully! The wrapping paper started to fly!
Let the training continue with new gear! February is gonna be a big month. Running a 15k (locally) and then the 10k during the Princess Half weekend. Whew!
Now to get ready for a quick trip to Disney! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
