Do you use a natural deodorant? Do you WANT to use a natural deordorant? I gave Lume a go after another natural brand just wasn’t getting the job done. So, here’s my review of Lume Deodorant. By the way, if you don’t like a little TMI, this post may not be for you. It’s not that bad but you have been warned. Let the Lume Deodorant review being!
Why I switched?
Over the summer, for some unknown reason, I started getting a rash on my underarms and I was having trouble even putting on deodorant without it burning. OUCH! So after a little research, I switched to a more natural deodorant that I could find in the local grocery.
It took care of the rash and burning but holy moly, it didn’t take care of body odor even when I wasn’t running or working out. I was constantly applying it. Then I was switching it from natural use to non-natural use deodorant.
So here’s what happened next!
A friend had posted about Lume Deodorant and she said that she really liked it! Much better than anything she had ever tried. It took me a little bit to pull the trigger and make the purchase. But I’m so glad I did! Lume is amazing! Here’s what it’s free of…
- Aluminum
- Silicone
- Sulfates
- Gluten
- Corn
- Talc
- Baking Soda
I have been using it for a little over a week now and guess what…no rash, no burning, no SMELL!!
They send you a lovely, yet humorous video while your order is being shipped to let you know how to prep yourself, your clothes and what to expect when you get your order. While it was funny, it was quite informative. I didn’t realize that my old deodorant had so much wax in it nor how to safely get it out of my clothes when washing.
Which did I order?
I ordered two sticks in this order. I got Jasmine Rose and Lavender Sage. I’m currently using the jasmine stick. It smells amazing and just a little will do you for the application.
I would highly recommend this deodorant if you are looking for a natural, aluminum and baking soda free option.
Do you use a natural deodorant? Let me know which one you use! Until next time, keep on truckin’!
