The weekend came and went. Twinkle Toes’ dance company preformed at our local arts festival. They did a wonderful job!
So needless to say, I wasn’t too motivated to do much of anything else. I had a great walk with my mom Sunday. Almost 4.5 miles at a brisk pace. But I managed to pull my rear out of bed this morning and get a run in. It wasn’t a good run but I got in 2 miles before my knee buckled and acted funny. With going to Disney this weekend, I don’t want any crazy injuries.
Multiplication…it’s like a forbidden word in our house. Twinkle Toes, Grammy (my mom), and I have been working hard to learn these facts. Twinkle Toes is in 3rd grade and back in the day when I was in school we started learning them from day 1 and worked until we knew them. Well…times have changed. She’s trying so hard, making progress, but freaking out in the process. The class’s big test is coming up and goes over 1’s through 10’s (1-12) and is 100 questions in 6 minutes. However, she has not mastered 6-9 yet. Her confidence is dropping and we are all frustrated! I know it’s just the beginning but I don’t like her getting upset and frustrated. Breaks my heart.
