October 31, 2013
Yesterday’s activities consisted of meetings and touring the golf course to be used for the NCAA Division II Women’s Golf National Championship in May 2014. Sounds easy but it can take a good bit of time.
The golf course is Rock Barn Golf and Spa. It is beautiful. Lots of hills.
This was an awesome display in the dining facility. The picture of the rock barn is how the golf course got it’s name. Although it is not on the course, it has been in the golf course superintendent’s family for decades. It was a pretty cool area.
One family that lives on the golf course got into the Halloween spirit.
I thought the ghost on the water box was pretty cute.
Living in northwest Florida, we don’t get to see the leaves change so I was excited to see some color other than green.
After being out on the course all afternoon, I wasn’t sure if I’d get my run in this morning, but I forced myself to get up. While it was a short run, it was a run. Only .5 miles until I reach 50 miles for October.
Happy Halloween! Have fun and be safe!
Until next time, keep truckin’!
