Week in Rewind

October 15, 2019…just a little late

I know, I know, I’m a day late. Well, I have a great excuse. You see, I was driving back from Disney. So my week in rewind was on delay. And it’s a little light on the running side. But not on the fun side! Now let’s rewind this week and see what happened!

So What did I do???

So, I went do Disney with Twinkletoes and met up with my parents while we were down there. Bonus points…some friends from home were there too! It was a great time had by all not to mention the amazing food and you know other stuff!

  • Monday – Walked 2.00 miles half on the treadmill before Total Toning. Got some foam rolling done.
  • Tuesday – Ran 2.49 miles outside. It was glorious. The weather was amazing and Twinkletoes had an e-learning day. So no early wake up to get to school!
  • Wednesday – Walked 3.13 miles outside and got some other stuff done around the house before departure. You know…domestic stuff.
  • Thursday – Didn’t sleep well so I took it easy and got packed for DISNEY!!
  • Friday – Got in pretty early in the morning to Disney and the wake up call was pretty early too! We took advantage of the early, early magic hours at Hollywood Studios so we could take in all that Galaxy’s Edge had to offer. OMG!!! Met the parentals later on in Epcot to enjoy the Food and Wine Festival. Total milage walked for the day…11.6 miles!
  • Saturday – Went to Animal Kingdom and had a wonderful experience as usual! Had a new one too! There’s an animation experience at the Conservation Station and Twinkletoes loved it! We all drew and only one of us knew what we drew! Met some friends from home after dinner at Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Resort in Magic Kingdom. Watched the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. Total milage for the day…7.9 miles.
  • Sunday – Went to Hollywood Studios to look for something and then back to Epcot to piddle around and meet up with our friends and eat around the world. Got stuck on Test Track for the first time ever! Had the best time! Watched the new fireworks at Epcot. Total milage for the day…10.4 miles.

Now what?

We had an amazing time with family and friends. We both missed Mr. Man. But now it’s back to school and marathon training.

Have you gone to see Galaxy’s Edge? Are you excited for December 5th when the new ride opens? Oh, we are! It was beautiful! We can’t wait to go back and explore so more!

I hope your week has some exciting things in store for you! Until next time, keep on truckin’!
